ShopSync can keep your customer tags in sync with your Mailchimp Audience. Getting started with tags is easy. Just add the tags you want to send over to Mailchimp from the ShopSync settings panel, and you’re good to go. We’ll send the tags over for orders that come through after you set up the configuration.
If you have tags that you want to map from Shopify to Mailchimp, add them in the app settings of ShopSync
Tags in Shopify are set at the customer level
When an order is placed, and there have been tags specified in the ShopSync settings, they will be added to the customer in Mailchimp
To populate contact data with tags from previous orders, you’ll need to initiate a force resync. You can find the Force Resync button near the bottom of the ShopSync settings panel. It’s important to note that when you initiate a force resync, Mailchimp won’t trigger any automations until the resync process is complete.
